Dr Ghaffapour and his team are absolutely awesome! Gentle, kind, and efficient. Everything is clean and he has state of the art technology. I "inherited" Dr. G when my previous dentist of many years retired, and I couldn't be more satisfied and grateful to have such an excellent new dentist. I appreciate that he's using the latest equipment, techniques, and treatments, and he does so with skill and genuine care and empathy. I believe my review is a particularly meaningful one for prospective new patients, because I've unfortunately had a lot of experience with dental procedures, and based on my extensive history, I can attest to Dr. G's excellence. Just last week he created a new crown for me "in house" in just one appointment! No more temporary one while the new one's being sent from an outside lab. Dr. G does it all himself in the office. I think it's important to add that Dr. G's a very good communicator. I really value that in a practitioner. He discusses issues thoroughly, I trust his judgement, and I feel confident in his skill. The final thing I appreciate about Kentfield Dental is the entire staff. The receptionist, the dental hygienist, and the dental assistant, are all a pleasure to encounter. I consider myself very lucky to have such great dental care!

Dr. G and his team are the best! I just visited Kentfield Dental because I had a tooth that was chipped. The tooth already had some work done from my previous dentist but Dr. G explained that because the tooth already had two fillings and the chipped part was too big he recommended a crown. He was very detailed and thorough in explaining the process to me. He and his team are very accommodating with my busy schedule. He made the crown in house in just one appointment and no adjustments were needed! Thank you Dr. G and the rest of the team!

Took my family into Kentfield Dental last week and had a great experience. Karina was so helpful and answered all my wife's questions about our insurance and plan for our teeth. I needed a new crown on my front tooth and had been avoiding it because I am so afraid of getting numb. The injection was painless, the procedure was done same day and the crown looks amazing. Dr. Ghaffarpour is not only a knowledgeable dentist but literally saved my life I had a crack in the root of my tooth he’s the only one diagnosed it with care and warned me about damage to my heart or brain and weaken my immune system while the past few years seeing other dentists were ignoring and keep telling me everything is fine ! Dr.G is very professional, his welcoming easy going attitude makes for a positive experience. The rest of the staff at Kentfield Dental are also very kind, as well as helpful. My Hygienist Kelly was attentive to my comfort and did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. My only wish is that Kentfield Dental took my insurance (Delta dental). That being said Dr.G does his best to make it as easy as possible to get my partial reimbursement from Delta.. I would strongly recommend Kenfield Dental to anyone looking for a good atmosphere and professional dentistry work.

I chipped my tooth on a popcorn kernel on Sunday night. I called in panicking on Monday morning and without an appointment Dr G. personally took care of me! I'm so grateful for the prompt and compassionate service; it's clear why Kentfield Dental is the best in town!

I have had a lot of dental work and dentists in my life, and I can honestly say, Dr. G is the best. He had an almost painless technique for replacing and working on my teeth which was a long, complicated procedure. He has an artist’s eye for color and shape and insists on top-notch lab work for a very natural result. I couldn’t be more pleased and I’m so happy to be going to his office now. His entire staff is so friendly and welcoming, as well as being very nice to each other and kind to their patients as well. Dr. G sets a good example by being so kind, so polite and so patient with everyone. For the first time in my life, I am not afraid to go to the dentist and I’m actually excited to go. They also have excellent Hygienists who do a thorough cleaning and examination but are gentle at the same time. Highly recommend them!

I’ve been going to Kentfield Dental since I moved to Marin in 2015. I was a little nervous seeing a new dentist once Dr. Herschleb retired, but Dr Ghaffarpour (Dr G) is personable, attentive and patient. I’ve always had anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, because my teeth are extremely sensitive. Dr. G has a calming demeanor and goes above and beyond in making me feel comfortable. He is attentive and spends time explaining any concerns I have with my teeth. I’m also impressed with the new technology they added in the office (cameras/etc). I highly recommend Kentfield Dental. The whole team from the front desk staff to the hygienists are amazing. Me and my family will be patients of Dr. G for a long time.

Dr. Soroush did an amazing job of explaining about my teeth condition and he was not in hurry to finish unlike my previous experience with another doctor. Dr. Soroush gave me an opportunity to ask questions and he was very nice to take time to answer my questions and he addressed my concerns. Dr. Soroush staff are extremely friendly and polite. Dr. Soroush is an excellent dentist who knows how to treat patients. Overall, I am very pleased to have him as my doctor.

John is a great dentist. Friendly, patient and definitely has gone the extra mile for me at times when I needed extra special attention. Have been going to him for MANY years (decades, even)...and while I can't say I ever enjoy going to the dentist, John and his staff makes it as close to as enjoyable as you can get.
