Kentfield Dental is a boutique, fee-for-service practice in Marin County — continuing a Kentfield tradition of trusted care that goes back decades. We pair the most advanced technology in modern dentistry with an aesthetics-first, conservative philosophy, so your treatment looks natural, feels comfortable, and is built to last.

Dr. Soroush Ghaffarpour
Owner & Dentist · Kentfield Dental
Dr. Ghaffarpour, or “Dr. G,” lives in Greenbrae with his wife, Ana, their son, Adrian, and their maltipoo, Charlie. Dr. G graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2019 at the top of his class. He has always had a passion for dentistry growing up and enjoys working closely with his patients to improve their oral health in a personalized manner. He is able to combine a science background with his artistic side to treat active dental diseases while restoring smiles that yield beautiful outcomes. Dr. G has experience working in a research lab, specifically understanding the role of dental stem cells in periodontal disease (also known as gum disease). He was invited to Memphis, TN to present his research amongst other leading scientists in the field. Dr. G also holds active membership in several professional organizations such as the ADA, CDA, AGD, AACA, and 3DII.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology and Psychology at the University of California, Davis, where he graduated with “high honors.” At Davis, he spent all 4 years working as a Peer Counselor and developed his listening skills, which he utilizes daily with patients. He also served as a lead volunteer to deliver medical and dental care for the homeless population of the Sacramento area, and continues to volunteer at the same clinic after all these years, offering much-needed care for those who can’t afford it. Aside from his community service at home, Dr. G regularly volunteers on mission trips internationally — he has traveled to countries like Mexico, Costa Rica, and Jamaica to provide free dental services to patients who would otherwise lack access to dental care.
Dr. G loves to spend time with his family, travel the world, and learn about new cultures. He learned Spanish during his trips to Latin America to better serve his Spanish-speaking patients. Dr. G also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and biking.
